Salon and Spa Marketing Tips
When Words Are Better Than Video
Video rocks. However in recent surveys people still prefer other avenues of communication including good old fashioned written words.
If a regular email and/or newsletter is not in your marketing arsenal then maybe it should be.
Personally I’d aim for once a month although depending on your business you could send something more frequently.
A good email/newsletter should be a quick read but not just filled with a pitch for selling your service.
Ideally, it includes some interesting facts, figures or tidbits that relate to your industry. Just look at the magazine rack for inspiration.
I recommend sending out something along the lines of:
-
5 quickest ways to ____
-
3 best overall _____
-
7 tips to ______
-
The #1 reason ________
-
The top 4 habits to ______
Those also make great subject lines when you mail out your newsletter.
Here are some free platforms for creating an email list.
