How to Create a Marketing Edge
One way to have a marketing edge is to do something that very few of your competitors do.
* You can have early morning hours for those who want a service before the work day
* Maybe your competitors mostly do weekday appointments and you can offer weekends
* How about tailoring some of your services to children or people with special needs
* Perhaps you can work with others in your suites to create group experiences for bridal parties or other groups
* Offer a product or technique that is fairly rare in your industry
* Accept a type of payment that few do (Bitcoin, barter bucks, gift cards, etc)
Have you ever had clients say, “I wish you offered _____”? Maybe that’s an idea worth implementing.
Once you come up with your unique offering be sure to publicize and promote it regularly so people know you are the go to person for it.
