Arrogance VS Confidence
In a recent survey of job recruits the #1 negative trait of job candidates is “arrogance” but the top positive trait is “confidence”.
In your business, one trait can push customers away and the other can draw clients to you.
Here are some ways to express arrogance to you customers:

Not listen or listen poorly

Interrupt (because you know everything)

Often disagree with other “experts”

Overestimate your abilities

Refuse to apologize when you are wrong
Here are some ways to exude confidence without sounding boastful

Listen well and repeat what you heard

Know that there are usually multiple ways to doing things

Admit when you made a mistake and then fix the problem

Acknowledge that you are experienced and trained but don’t know everything (but will find out the answer if you don’t know)

Share achievements with others (“I’d like to thank ____ for helping me achieve this award”)
You can use these tips also in your marketing so you come across as confident but not arrogant.
