Clever Way to Add $ to Every Booking
I’m checking into a hotel in a few days and they sent me a confirmation email which of course is very standard. If something has changed and I need to cancel it’s better for everyone if that is done in advance.
What was unique was the email included a link to some “special offers” that I might be interested in while I am there (piqued my curiosity).
I clicked on the link and it was simply some discounts to add a daily breakfast. But in reality it could have been anything.
This is simply another (and very clever) way to upsell their services.
Maybe I didn’t want their breakfast when I booked but I do now. Maybe your client didn’t want the hot stones, armpit wax or whatever add-on your typically offer when they booked but now they do!
Try reconfirming your appointments with some “special offers” and see if you can add a little extra $ to each booking.
